Recognizing the pressing need to disseminate timely, accurate and relevant information and education about such substantial scientific developments to a broad array of healthcare professionals, the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) and the American College of Cardiology (ACC) have formed a collaborative partnership to build and deliver innovative programs and resources for specialty clinicians treating patients with AF, including heart rhythm specialists and general cardiologists.
As the leading professional medical societies representing these physician populations, HRS and ACC consistently demonstrate their commitment to providing innovative, high quality education and resources to their own memberships. In addition, both organizations recognize the responsibility to elevate the public’s awareness of AF as well as educate and inform patients and caregivers. Ultimately, both HRS and ACC aim to ensure optimal care for cardiovascular patients. HRS and ACC will collaborate to develop and disseminate a comprehensive set of educational resources for a range of physician and allied healthcare professionals, patients and caregivers.
